Now and again rig owners decide to go into the ownership of supporting vessels and back in the early years of this century Ensco, the American mobile Drilling Unit owner had a go at it, buying and operating half a dozen ships. This one, the Ensco Trojan was built in 1981 at Halter Moss Point and had been through several ownerships before Ensco bought it. Only a year after the photo was taken it was purchased by Tidewater to become the Trojan Tide.

The photo was taken somewhere in America by Oddgeir Refvik in 2003 and posted here on 15th January 2018.
