Here is the Putford Achetes, just to remind you what anchor-handlers used to look like. Yes, in its day - actually 1973 - this ship was a state of the art rig moving vessel. It was converted for its role as an ERRV, or as we still call them, standby boat, in 1990 and has been going out there ever since for a month at a time. This class is now gradually finding its way to the breakers, but someone still loves this one.
