Here is the MCC 887 Wildebeeste working in Brazilian waters. It is one of eight of the type designed by the Polish design house MMC Ship Design and built bay Remontowa. They were delivered between 2012 and 2014 to Edison Chouest or one of its subsidiaries. This particular vessel appears to be equipped with a couple of ROVs and a large crane, like many ships out there. Who knows what they are actually up to.

The photo was taken by Jan Plug earlier this month and was posted here on 30th October 2017.
