The Seawell, once upon a time the Stena Seawell, and then the CSO Seawell, leaving Aberdeen in 2008. This complex vessel, originally designed as a diving and construction ship, has since been modified to carry out well intervention. The ship entered service in 1987, and in those days this is what a DPII vessel looked like. It was built by North East Shipbuilders Ltd, originally and famously Austin and Pickersgill, back in the days when ships were built in Sunderland.
