BOA KING
In the early days of Chinese offshore vessel construction Boa had two anchor-handlers built, the Boa King and Boa Queen, at Dalian. They were powered by two Cats developing 11300 kW giving the ships a 200 ton bollard pull. The ships were sold to the Indian company Varun in 2007 for quite a bit of money, much in line with the way Boa have tended to operated. This is the Boa King which was to become Subhiksha.
The photo was taken in 2006 outside Aberdeen by Victor Gibson and posted here on 7th December 2017.
