Thumbing through my records I found the Normand Ivan on its way into Aberdeen. This is a splendid traditional anchor-handler designed by VikSandvik, three of which were built in the first couple f years of the new century. Despite ints age it is still out there in Norwegian waters it seems after some years in the Far east. It has two Wartsila diesels developing a collective 20,000 bhp, giving it a 240 tons  bollard pull.
