Here is the Far Sound with the Skandi Buchan in the background at the Elgin Platform some years ago when the ship was new. And here is just a bit of a cautionary tale for mariners out there in the oil business. I was the Marine Rep on the accommodation rig it is alongside. I was giving the ship instructions which they did not like very much so they were talking between themselves on what they thought was a secure radio channel, but we were able to listen in. So watch what you say on the radio if you wish to avoid offending your client!
